With enough suspense and chills to be a contemporary horror classic, The Sixth Sense was capable of offering heart-pounding PG-13 horror to audiences that "had seen everything" already. Solid performances are another plus, add to that a smart ending, a killer line and a clever way of directing. Great flick with Shyamalan being pushed to his limits, considering his decaying filmography. 83/100

This is an oldie but goodie film. I watched it several times to be able to grasp the entire concept and catch all of the things you wouldn't see the first time. For instance every time a spirit was present M. Night Shyamalan would show something red. A lot of detail in a movie and I loved it. Great cast and very believable. Although we are given four stars here I give it five stars.

I see Bad M. night shyamalan movies. this movie is chilling and pretty scary at parts, but the ending is one of the most saddest endings ever, I will not say what happens at the end just watch it and see.

sense is not engaging till the peak moment

Supernatural thrillers are very common nowadays. Having much belief in spirits or not this movie is one of those rare thrillers which can slightly frighten. Some believe and some do not believe in spirits and me being the second case I cannot speak anything logical about script. Directed by Night Shyamalan and distributed by Spy Glass is this supernatural thriller casted by Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment and co.
Spirits have unfulfilled wishes and they roam about to get the job done. Here the case is all about a boy Cole (Osment) who has the secret untold to anyone. He can see dead people and speak with them. Child Psychologist Malcolm (Willis) helps Cole solve the problem and in fact try to bury his own problems with his wife (Olivia Williams). There are some spirits waiting for help a...

"The Sixth Sense" by Yojimbo

A child psychologist who is shot by a former patient he failed to help becomes obsessed with the case of a small boy who is exhibiting similar symptoms. Although M. Night Shyamalan's career has taken a serious dump since his halcyon days, The Sixth Sense is the film he will always be remembered for. A mix of supernatural thriller and wish fulfilment fantasy, it delivers both spine tingling chills and pushes all the right emotional buttons when presenting this sensitively told tale of a small boy who is living in constant fear of the dead who seem to be stalking him. Although the famous twist in the tale is the biggest talking point, it's amazing how well the story stands up even when you know that it's coming; you find yourself admiring the subtlety and cleverness of the (mis)direction an...

Seemingly predictable, with unpredictable end

The Sixth Sense, starring Haley Joel Osment and Bruce Willis, is a thriller that keeps the viewer guessing until the very end of the movie. The disturbing beginning shows Bruce Willis, a child psychiatrist, shot by a former patient. The screen immediately goes black, and resumes showing Willis taking notes on a peculiar young boy. Willis shadows young Osment in order to help this terrified boy. At first, Willis could not quite figure out what was wrong with this boy, but as they spend more time together, the truth begins to come out of shy Osment. He admits that he sees dead people everywhere and Willis suggest a solution to the problem. Instead of being scared, Willis advises that he should help these troubled people. In doing so, the story ends by revealing that Willis was ...
